Ricardo Castellanos

Ricardo has been in the Landscape Architecture profession for over 20 years, having studied at California Polytechnical University, Pomona as well as in Italy.  Aside from working in Santa Barbara, he has also gained experience in San Diego and Los Angeles.

Ricardo provides creative and well-designed outdoor spaces while working within a timeline and the project budget. A team player passionate about adding beauty to the environment, he is cognizant of and coordinates well with other team members in order to anticipate and minimize conflicts and ensure a successful project.

Ricardo has been a dedicated member of the community, volunteering in numerous capacities including Santa Barbara/Puerto Vallarta Sister City Committee, Street Tree Advisory Committee, City Orators Toastmasters, Optimists, Fairview Gardens, Santa Barbara Mariachi Festival and is a Past President of Santa Barbara Beautiful and Old Spanish Days Fiesta (2012).

Ricardo’s interests include gardening, reading, snow / water skiing, traveling, yoga and bocce ball.
